Art with Megan
Eric is in Megan Munoz's Art Class
We started off with this semester in art with the introduction of color. We learend about the color wheel and had a class devouted to mixing colors to make the secondary and tertiary colors with just three primary colors. After we learned about color and how to mix it we worked on creating our first project, the Symbolic Colorwheel. After the Symbolic Colorwheel, we worked on the Student Movement project, where we worked in groups to create paper machet images to compliment the essays we wrote in Humanities. For our final project, we worked on the Faces in the Media project, where I portrayed the current San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders in a angry/negative way.

Spanish with Johanna
Eric is in Johanna
Jorfald's Spanish class
In Spanish this year, we are learning more fundamentals of the language. Earlier this year, we worked on mastering our conjugations in the preterit and imperfect tenses. We also learned more vocabulary and how to form 2nd grade sentences. We worked on two main projects which were the "Pollo Project", where we read excerpts from Chicken Soup, and the Immigration Project, where we studied immigration and wrote photo essays.
This year in Spanish went by quickly, and I feel like I have learned a lot in our short time, and I can now conjugate in the preterit and imperfect tenses
