Missing Element Poster

When I started out with this project earlier this year, I wondered how I was going to present the information. I knew I wanted to do it on photoshop, but I didn't know how. I was assigned Helium, a noble gas. When I met with the other Noble Gases, we decided on a Las Vegas theme for our posters. I immediatly thought of my element being a performer at a casino. After many revisions through the critque panel and drafting and revision process, I got my final product. I didn't really encounter any problems through this project, it wasn't stressful at all.

I find my work to be the best of my ability. Although it might not be the best poster in the class, it is my best work. I have only one year of experience of Photoshop, and as you know Photoshop is not an easy program to master, you are always learning with Photoshop. During the construction of my poster, I learned that I have somewhat of an artistic ability when it comes to Photoshop, but not really physical art. This shows how much technology in the 21st century is depended upon. If I was the teacher, I would say that there is a lot of information there, but it is all there.

If I had a chance to do this project over, I would try to incorporate the information into a more artistic form. But then again, I have to take into consideration the dimension of the canvas and what I can fit into the space. All in all, I enjoyed doing this project and look forward to future projects in Todd's class.
