Mad Chemistry

During this project, I encountered many problems. At first my group did not work. Only me and a select few use time wisely. I had to pick up the slack that my group members who wouldn't work. To problem solve, I took matter into my own hands and started assigning work to those who couldn't manage their time wisely. Even though some of my group members didn't want to work, I maintained a professional attitude to cope with group members that refused to work.

My main responsibility for the group was chemist, so I photographed the electromagnetic spectrum in everyday items. This took a lot of revision to get the words to print in the printable space on a 4 by 6 print. After all of the revision, I feel that this is a great representation of my photographical skills as well as my collage skills. I would have liked the photos to have been bigger, that is printed on 5 by 7 paper, perhaps. During this project, I learned that I could incorporate my love of photography in the field of science. This will help me in future years for project ideas through photography.

If I had the oppurtunity to change this project, I would have spent more time working on enlarging the photos to create a larger collage. It would have been interesting to have made this into a banner or laminated production. If I were to do this project over, I would have liked to choose my cowokers, but I realize in the real world this is not possible.
