Eric Harmatz
Eric Harmatz is a freshman at High Tech High Media Arts. Eric comes from Mesa Verde Middle School located in the Poway Unified School District 22 miles north of Point Loma.
Eric has always had a passion for flying. He is currently training to be a Private Pilot during the summer and holidays, and will head up to full operations in Spring 2007.
When he cannot be on a real plane, he trains on the Simulator. Eric is an active member of the Virtual Airtraffic Simulation Network, or VATSIM. He is also an active member of Fly US Airways Virtual and can be seen flying on VATSIM with the callsign any US Airways or America West Callsign (USAxxx, AWExxx)
Eric serves as Exectuive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Fly U S Airways Virtual.After graduating high school, Eric has plans to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and relocate to Florida. After graduating college, Eric will submit his resume to a regional airline such as Skywest (to persue a career with United) or Air Wisconsin (to persue a career with U S Airways)
